Question:
I thought BeOS was supposed to be made for audio recording and editing and yet i cant seem to find any software to do any recording or editing that has much in the way of effects or options either.....the only links i find to progs i have found out about all seem to be defunked......Oasis and Nuendo are just two i could mention i will say that there are a few sites that look pretty good for getting software from but most of the links to what should be good software dont seem to work.

have you looked on BeBits? www.bebits.com Although I am not an audio professional, I know there are quite a few multi-track audio applications for BeOS available, and when I checked out the feature sets seemed quite comprehensive. I advise you to look there before giving up.
