I am interested in buying multi-track recording software for my PC so that I can record multi-track guitar parts with drums. I have several questions and would expect that someone here may have some experience in this area.

Check out n-Track at http://www.fasoft.com They have a demo program, I'm still evaluating it. The main thing is that they have a discussion board where you can get advice on recording. It might be worth checking out.
