Just received mine through Ebay auction, pouring over the manual. First couple of experimental songs sound decent, with great sounding drum and bass rythym tracks. Anyone tried the new Zoom MRS-8 multitrack recording studio?

Answer:
I just got the MRS-8 for Christmas. The first unit I got did not work properly and I had to send it back to Zoom. However, they were very responsive and replaced it within a week. The new unit works great. I've discovered a limitation that I'm not too happy with: I can't seem to record 2 inputs at once, with only one of the input signals passing through the guitar effects processor. I wanted to simulataneously record guitar using the MRS-8 processor and a bass guitar dry, but no matter what I tried, I could only get either both instruments going through the effects or neither.
