Nippon Gakki guitar

Tagged As:

Hopefully you can shed some light on my guitar.. it was passed down to me from a now deceased family member so I do not have a lot of history on the guitar, but do know that it is at least 25 to 30 years old. It is an acoustic archtop guitar, and it has several different labels/names on it.. hence the confusion. On the head of the guitar it is labled as a Weldone guitar, below that is a Japanese emblem and the word Gengakki. On the pickguard of the guitar it is stamped Well Done Tokyo Japan, and the label on the inside of the guitar says Weldone Guitar, Givson Gakki Co, Ltd. Made in Tokyo, Japan. The number 200 is also printed on the label. To make it a little more confusing on the metal of the bridge is stamped Nippon Gengakki. Any information you have about my guitar would be great, thanks!
