Guitar case covers- Recommendations?

Tagged As: Guitar Case Cover

Question:
Does anyone have recommendations on the value of guitar case covers, experiences with them and any recommendations for quality brands/models? I want to keep my new martin and its original case protected and can't quite afford a Calton case yet. Any advice?

Answer:
I have Small Dog covers for all three of my guitars. They are substantial and very well made, and I highly recommend them. After three years, and alot of mileage, my cases look brand new. They also offer some insulation in hot and cold weather. But, they don't protect the guitar in sunlight, as they are black and dark gray. If you're interested in thermal protection from the sun, you might want to consider a Climate Case.

www.coloradocase.com They have a wide assortment of sizes and will make it custom. All of their products insulate and provide better thermal protection than climate case.

Actually, I'd take a look at Colorado Case Company. They make Small Dog, but they also make their own brand and it is the most insulating cover on the market. It is a light grey color for excellent refelctivity as well.
