Question:
I'm kind of new to the guitar effects area, and I was just curious what people think of Line 6 products. I currently use a Boss DD6 for my delay effects but I like some of the sounds of the Line 6 stomps......any opinions?

Answer:
I've heard nothing but good things about the DL-4. Seen it and heard it but never played it. It sounds great and if my Digidelay ever goes out on me, I'll likely pick up a DL-4. I own an MM-4 and a DM-4. Because of these devices I've gone from 3 overdrive/distortion pedals, a tremolo, phaser, and chorus pedal to just these two and had more options available to me! I love them both. Huge space and power savers. The only beef I have is that the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 is the only multiple power supply I know of that will power the Line 6 effects, and then only two at a time. And the PP2 only ships with one Line6 cable so you either have to buy or build (Radio Shack: 10$) another if you're using two. If you check out the Line 6 forums, that's the most common thread is power problems. Usually from people trying to make their supplies work on them. The effects themselves are great with more customization of settings than most individual pedals will have. And being able to save up to four to be called up at the press of a button is so nice. I can highly recommend both without any reservations. Except this: they all eat the energizer bunny like starving cannibals on a desserted island.
