Answer:
I bought this book for myself, and I recommend it to you. It's Guitar Player Repair Guide: Expanded & Updated 2nd Edition by Dan Erlewine, and published by GPI books. It covers the maintenance and repair of both electric and acoustic guitars. There's a list of tools, and the techniques are complete with diagrams and photos. Also, the forward is written by the editor of Guitar Player Magazine, if that should prompt you to check it out. You might find this an essential resource for yourself. It seems better than searching around on the Net all of the time, and who knows if any web site would be as complete as this book is? Complete Guitar Repair by Hideo Kanemoto 1975 Oak Publishing ,is a good basic repair/setup manual. It may be out of print , I've seen copy in a local College library so you might try that .
